Zion Baptist Church Of Christ was birthed Sunday, June 14,1990, under the spiritual leadership of the late Pastor Stephen L. Thomas, Sr., with about fifty determined saints. Zion stands on the scripture: The church where Christ is Head. Ephesians 1:22. We believe the Bible is the Holy Word of God and we seek to not only know this truth but we seek to walk it out daily and we urge all those who make up Zion to do the same. Reading and studying God's word is of utmost importance to our pastor and church. Our entire church is committed to meeting God's mandate for Studying God's Word which says: "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" 2 Timothy 2:15. As a result, a high percentage of our visitors become repeat visitors and then members.
